Isaiah 6:10,12-13
"Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed."
"And the LORD have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land."
"But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof."
What if we are the only true faithful out of a growing billion of species?
Would it make any difference to you if you knew just how much you are without such spiritual knowledge around your vicinity?
What if we are God's only lifeline? The only one still preaching, studying His word, singing for His name, interceding for the Church and the lost, using the gift He has deposited for His glory. (I believe you are not a mistaken identity, however, this refers to only those who still do)
What if we were the only opportunity for our family and close friends to hear the good news or the consequences of rejecting it?
The only opportunity for men to see the holy lifestyle of Christ? (This does not refer to self-righteousness in any form, which is very common), the true love of Christ in a world filled with hate?
We can have both the manifestations of the power of the Holy Ghost in us and godly Character. In fact, they are not independent of themselves as true believers.
A lot of fake actions today make this look impossible.
Do we set a limit to what God could do with us?
One thing is sure if we would always come before Him, He will lead us on into everything He has planned for our lifetime. This requires daily discipline and deep preparation.
May God help us not to fail Him. Shalom
PS: You only lose if you go on keeping God at a distance, for He is a great Lover.
