"Gather to me my consecrated ones, who made a covenant with me by sacrifice.”
Saints of old are known for their sacrifices on the pilgrimage road in giving utmost pleasure to their Lord and so should we.
What Sacrifice have you made last in the pursuit of God and his Kingdom's increase? We cannot fully please God and fully please ourselves. In order to please the Lord, certain sacrifices are a must. The sacrifice of daily coming to his presence in personal devotion. The sacrifice of time, giving up time in concentrated praying and intercession, the study of the Bible and sharing our faith. The sacrifice of giving from what God has blessed us with. The utmost sacrifice is living out these biblical principles for all to see, a life filled with God's love for our enemies, sometimes this is all the preaching needed with a certain set of persons.
Jesus sacrificed Himself for man to live. Let us learn from him. What Sacrifice(s) have you made recently?
God is a Faithful God. He always rewards. That should encourage us into useful service.
